The other day I got an email from YouTube inviting me to make money with them. I went through all the steps to set up my AdSense account but they left me with a great mystery to discover: which video got them to send me that email?
I really thought it would be thousands more views by the time this video would be eligible for ads on YouTube, but here we are 5,452 views and this seems to be my most viewed video. But it begs the question, WHY?! It was a silly moment that we wanted to record while going to Schiermonnikoog in the North of the Netherlands (on the Wadden Sea).
So let’s take a poll – how much do you think I’ll end up making on this video once my Adsense account gets going (if it even is the video YouTube is interested in monetizing)?
Little did I know at this moment while we were recording the video that I would be experiencing the most amazing scenery and nature of my life (probably). That island is neater than the Grand Canyon (to me anyway). The Grand Canyon was so big, it almost felt unreachable, but Schiermonnikoog had so much in terms of land variety and so much that had been left untouched by human hands…only a short boat ride away from the main land. Free grazing horses, unashamed sheep and loooooong sandy beaches, among hills that change by the wind and trees in shapes that I had never seen before…it was so neat! I loved it there.
