Ever heard of Well.ca? It’s my favourite web site ever!
Why? I plan to write a blog post about that soon (yes it IS internet marketing related!).
But in the mean time, they’re having this big sale on food, that I just had to share with you – adds a bit of a personal touch and insight into my life! (Ok, well at least the parts of my life that revolve around food!)
The best thing is that they offer free shipping anywhere in Canada.
I don’t normally buy food from there, but I got an email saying that food was 25% off. I went to have a look and I was AMAZED at the options!
Here is what I put in my cart, and I encourage you to go an have a look for yourself!
Acai Cereal? Wow.
Nature’s Path Organic Acai Apple With Pomegranate Granola was $6.29, now $4.72
Mmmm..soup.
Amy’s Organic Butternut Squash Soup was $4.49, now $3.37
Gotta have applesauce handy
Eden Foods Organic Apple Cinnamon Sauce was, $5.29, now $3.97
I’m thinking about this one:
Eden Organic Canned Rice & Lentils was $2.99, now $2.24
(Sounds like a great fast meal for the days when work can’t stop a moment for meal prep!)
Herbal WHAT?
Ok, I didn’t buy this, but have you ever heard of HERBAL COFFEE??? They say they are “all the satisfaction with no caffeine reaction” – Sounds interesting!
Soy and rice stuff
I also didn’t buy this, but I know that for people who drink soy (or that rice stuff), keeping enough of it around, and shopping for the right price is a challenge. How is $3.11 on sale for enriched natural soy?
So there’s hot, hot chocolate?
I still have organic hot chocolate from Trader Joe’s in my cupboard, but check out the FLAVOUR of this!!! “Cocoa Camino Chili & Spice Hot Chocolate” (it’s organic too!). I admit, it is a bit on the pricey side for hot chocolate, but you tell me if it’s worth the splurge! was $9.75, now $7.31 (on sale)
Should I be THIS afraid of Quinoa?
I’m too scared to try this out, but I thought it was sooo interesting as well. Have you heard of Quinoa pasta? What about Quinoa cereal? I know! Sounds crazy doesn’t it? But then I’m thinking…hmm…all that protein…gotta be good for me. What do you think? Would you buy this stuff? What do you think it will taste like?
My favourite store is Trader Joe’s in the states, and shopping at Well.ca (especially with the 25% discount going on now) is like shopping at Trader Joe’s. Such interesting flavours and healthy options!
It makes my life so much easier to not have to think about going to the store to get these basics! (I’m not lying, don’t think I’m crazy – it’s a lot to think about to have to remember to get toothpaste!)
Happy shopping, and let me know how these were for you!
